The new B-DEAP (Boundary Dependent External Air Path) bass horn
enclosure. The B-DEAP subwoofer represents an evolutionary design
utilizing the company's patent pending Boundary Dependent
technology. The External Airpath technology allows for the very
efficient generation of extreme levels of acoustic power with low
distortion obviating the issues of size, weight or processing.

Developed by Sound Physics' creative director of R&D, Thomas Danley,
the B-DEAP design takes into consideration the physical space outside
the actual box, utilizing boundaries, enclosure walls and geometry to
form a bass horn external to the unit. Traditionally, a bass horn
capable of extending to 30Hz requires an enclosure with a ten to
twelve-foot wide mouth. Even a multi-box, segmented bass horn
usually requires a lot of space.
