Sound Physics Labs announces the latest addition to their growing line of high fidelity, high-output, Boundary Compliant(tm) sound reinforcement loudspeakers: the SPL-trik. Ostensibly configured as a stage monitor, the SPL-trik outshines other loudspeakers at any position, delivering focused (60 H x 60 V) sound down to 300Hz and features SPL's unique "point source arrayability".

Designed by legendary acoustics engineer Tom Danley, creator of the paradigm-defining SPL-td1 and ServoDrive BassTech 7, the SPL-trik combines unparalleled fidelity with affordability in a compact, lightweight frame (17.5 x 19 x 35.5-inches, 108-pounds).

With four 8-inch direct radiating low frequency drivers (two on either side of the horn) and four 4-inch horn-loaded mid-range drivers emanating from a one-inch, high frequency compression driver at the back of the horn, the SPL-trik boasts a frequency response of 44Hz - 18kHz +/-3dB. Moreover, Danley's revolutionary design ensures that the contribution of each driver sums to a time correct rendering of its electrical input. Consequently, the SPL-trik's fidelity transcends other manufacturers' "20 to 20" catchall. Finally, on top of its stellar acoustical specifications, the SPL-trik ships with a 13-ply Baltic Birch enclosure capped by virtually indestructible Line-X Truck Bed Liner (yes, the same material that coats contemporary pick-up truck beds!).
